I read it on the site itself! (yes, I’m a silly person with a Pottermore account, phew) If I were more industrious, I’d write a Harry Potter fan fiction story involving robed wizards being mistaken for devotees by actual Hare Krishnas… at the end a full set of Srimad Bhagavatam is sold and everyone leaves happy. Subtle bridge preaching to the Harry Potter fan community.
My God. Pottermore makes a stupid joke about the Hare Krishnas.
In Diagon Alley, the unlocked content bit about wizard clothing, saying wizards are required by wizard-law to wear Muggle clothes in Muggle society, but there is a group of wizards who refuse, and wear their robes in public: “To date, they appear to have been taken as cult members by Muggles.”
“The most painful thing, more painful than having the knife stuck in your heart, is to have someone who you may love or care for or be concerned about and they just say something really heavy, like, “I hate you!” One really has to see Krishna behind that. In this world friends will become enemies and enemies will become friends and if you are really just trying to exploit the relationship by enjoying the other person, you are going to get very disturbed.”—
